In order to carry forward Chinese culture, inherit and develop Chinese liquor culture, meanwhile raise the awareness of the younger generation of Chinese traditional liquor, the preliminary competition of Sichuan University Wine Tasting Contest 2018, sponsored by China Wine Industry Association, will be held from September 26 to 28. In order to prepare better for the competition, the students majoring in light industry and biotechnology in bioengineering in our college have received a week of professional guidance and training on liquor skills since August 25, 2018. The training was sponsored by Luzhou Laojiao Co., Ltd. and Light Industry Biotechnology Teaching and Research Office. Shao Yan and Cai Liang, two national liquor judges of Luzhou Laojiao Co., Ltd., served as trainers.

31th August , the first stage of liquor tasting training was successfully completed. After training, 15 students stood out and would represent Sichuan University in the official competiton.

This training has laid an important foundation for the preparation of the competition for the students majoring in light industry and biotechnology. We would like to thank Luzhou Laojiao Co., Ltd. for its strong support for this training,  and also gratitude the students for their hard work and wish them get excellent results.
